Masten Space Systems, one of the leaders in VTOL rocket development, has announced the availability of postgraduate fellowships.

The new fellowships formalize a practice Masten has had in place for some time, where individuals with one or more degrees have participated in Masten’s internship program.

Masten is looking for people with skills applicable to software (C, Matlab, Python, and MongoDB experience desired), GNC, structures, aerodynamics, composites, liquid propulsion and rocket plumbing, electrical engineering, and embedded systems.

Selection will be weighted in favor of individuals with hands-one experience in UAV development, robotics, mechatronics, high-performance rocketry, or liquid propulsion.

Successful applicants will join the Masten team in Mojave, California for 3-6 months as a functioning full team member, manage a number of projects, and participate in rocket test operations.
